Is the YM-5 UL listed?
Machines like these usually aren't "UL Listed" as a product line, from any maker in our class. Ambex machines are built with listed parts throughout. That includes a listed gas safety control. One certified unit handles shutoff, ignition, and flame supervision. An outside field evaluation of our current machines is underway. Ask us about it. We know exactly what's inside our machines and we like this conversation.
How do you sell these machines at these prices?
You buy straight from the people who build it. No dealer. No one in the middle who needs a cut. Nothing is stripped out to hit the price. The chaff collector, the logging software, and your training are all in it, plus a two-year parts and labor warranty. There's no catch. The warranty is the proof.
Why isn't the full price on the site?
Because your real number isn't a sticker. Every machine is set up for you: fuel, voltage, options, freight. Call 727-251-9262 or request a quote and you'll have your price within one business day. Monthly financing numbers are on each machine's page.
Machine X has a feature yours doesn't. Why?
On purpose. Every added part is one more thing that can fail at 6 AM on roast day. The standard machine carries what a working roastery needs and nothing that breaks. If you really want it, ask. Drum speed control, exhaust speed control, custom work. We install it at our shop for an added cost, and it carries the same warranty. The controls also log your roast data and work with Artisan and Cropster. Simple doesn't mean blind.
What's the lead time?
In stock, ships in about a week. Not in stock, your machine comes off the next production run. Call and ask what's on the floor today.
Can I finance it?
Yes, through an outside lender, if you qualify. Terms run 24 months, from $590 a month on the YM-2 up the line. Two honest notes. Financing costs more than paying direct. The extra goes to the lender, not to us. Paying direct, by check, ACH, or wire, gets you free shipping in the lower 48. Ask about financing when you request a quote. We'll connect you.
How does payment work?
A 10% deposit gets your machine started. No work begins without it. Nothing ships until the balance clears. Pay direct, by check, ACH, or wire, and shipping is free in the lower 48. Financing runs through an outside lender if you qualify.
Do you ship internationally?
Worldwide. There are Ambex machines on every continent except Antarctica. Export voltage builds in 220 V, 50 Hz are available.
I found some old forum posts about Ambex. What's the story?
Fair question. Over thirty years, names around us changed. One sales company once shared part of our name. It is long gone. The building side, this family and this shop, has never changed hands.
