A test roast on the Ambex shop floor

How They're Built

Turkish steel. Florida heart.

Every Ambex begins as a steel body built in Türkiye, the home of drum roaster metalwork. The best roaster metalworkers in the world have worked steel there for generations. That's the skeleton.

Everything that makes the machine alive happens in our Clearwater, Florida shop, and the internals all come from US companies. The motors. The gas train. The wiring, controls, and probes. Put in by hand, by the same family that has built Ambex roasters since 1994.

Our floor has its own CNC mill and welding bay. Custom parts are made in our shop, not ordered from a catalog. Some parts we machine ourselves, on our own mill. When you ask for drum speed control or an export voltage, the people who build the machine build the option. And warranty it.

Then comes the part we won't skip. We roast coffee on your machine. Every machine is checked and test roasted in our shop before it ships. Not a spin-up. A roast.

No roaster leaves Clearwater without roasting coffee first.
